Far out, we all slept in til about 1:30pm
Sooooo goood.
Unfortunately there is heaps of fog and clouds and rain and snow in Niagara Falls at the moment so the morning view wasn't as spectacular as it might have been.
We made our way to a Boston Pizza joint for brekfast/lunch before stopping at a Hershey's Chocolate outlet.
We then crossed the bridge over Niagara Falls through customs into the US.
The US side of Niagara is absolutely dead. It seems almost like a ghost town with grafitti and vandalism and hardly any people or shops. Dunno if it was from the recession or not but everything was closed. Entire shopping centers. Food outlets. You name it.
We did go into a take away store to check and confirm that the prices across the border were significantly cheaper and bigger serving sizes before walking the 5km home.
On the walk home we walked through a park with a bunch of fairy light displays lit up. Apparently it is the Niagara Falls Festival of Lights at the moment which means the occasional night of fireworks as well as a bunch of fairy lights and christmas lights everywhere.
Back at the hotel as lazing around and ordering in for food as well as a swim in the 25m heated pool and jacuzzi.
Tomorrow we will go to the shops...we are spending far too much on food lol
