Day 25: Christmas Eve

Day: Friday 24th December
Temp: 4C WARM!!!

We woke up very slowly, but still surprisingly early. Eventually the boys skated with their skateboards through central park, i caught a metro half way and walked. We aimed to meet up near the ice skating rinks - such a nice way to cure the hangover.

We ended up at a big square in central park and we just sat on the benches. Such a cool atmosphere. There was a guy playing music on the saxaphone, a guy blowing giant bubbles, runners going past, people trying tricks on their skate boards, people throwing a frizbee and doing tricks with it like spinning it along their heads and keeping it going and stuff. One of the coolest atmosphere's for a public place for sure.
We wandered to the Apple store nearby, walked past the ice skating rink but it was too busy so didnt bother. The apple store is just a glass building - so its impressive enough to go check it out. Soo busy so didn't go inside.

Went back to the hotel to skype all our families before having a micro nap.
Got woken up by my friend Neeti.
Last year when I went to india she was there via family connections. She's from new jersey more than she is indian.
She commuted about an hour from new jersey and we met up in times square for a bit of dinner. TGI fridays. Overpriced for the tourists and nothing amazing but we were hungry enough so didnt care.

Went back to hotel after saying goodbyes and packed bags before going to bed. We were going to go out to another club but simply couldnt do it physically. And the boys had to get up way earlier than I did to make their flight so we all just crashed.
